There is an urgent need to integrate a gender perspective into policies on international trade and investment, external affairs, and global institutions to foster inclusive and equitable economic growth. Our goal is to systematically incorporate gender considerations into trade agreements, diplomatic initiatives, and multilateral platforms, while promoting women’s leadership and participation. Through our research, we seek to generate evidence-based insights, document best practices, and propose targeted actions to increase women’s involvement in cross-border trade, strengthen the participation of women-led enterprises in global value chains, and enhance women’s representation in domestic and international forums.
