Our work focuses on mainstreaming gender insights across four core macro-policy dimensions that are central to India’s structural transformation and the future of work. Within these focus areas, we undertake sector-specific analysis spanning a wide spectrum of economic activities, such as manufacturing, agriculture, the gig economy, trade, etc. We aim to embed gender within this gendered macroeconomic framework, while strengthening policy engagement and expanding our sub-national research to reflect India’s diverse economic landscape.
