Ms. Shravani Prakash

Shravani Prakash is a Gender and Trade expert with nearly 20 years of experience in policy-oriented research. Driven by a mission of finding effective solutions for bridging economic gender gaps, she has worked extensively on research initiatives that recommend actionable measures for policymakers, the private sector, and civil society organizations to empower women – in collaboration with various stakeholders of the women’s ecosystem. She also has extensive experience on various trade-related issues, including trade and gender; trade in South Asia; trade facilitation, trade restrictions; trade in services; bilateral and regional trade agreements; and WTO-related trade policy issues. Shravani holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.
