Mohd Tahoor is a Research Assistant in the GEM Team. Tahoor holds an M.A. in Economics from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from PGDAV College, University of Delhi. His academic and research interests include development economics, public policy, data analysis, and applied economic research. Prior to joining ICRIER, Tahoor completed an internship with the organization, where he collaborated with the GEM Team to analyze sub-national trends in economic indicators using large-scale datasets, including ASUSE, TUS, HCES, CMS, and PLFS. His work contributed to data-driven insights on consumption patterns and supported research that was featured in national media.
